Before each rental, all systems receive a full reinstall of software and a comprehensive systems diagnosis. After setup we execute a complete cabling integrity check, emulating all the functions an editor must perform.

Yet stuff happens, computers and programs act weird, and decks break, so we back up our equipment to the hilt.
Midtown Edit’s Avid technicians provide support 24/7. Since our guys know our systems so well (they designed and built the darn things after all), a phone call usually takes care of the problem. But if not, we fix it or replace it quickly.

When we set up the system, our tech will familiarize your editor with the basics of our setup, in order to maximize editing time.
